Ghorashal Thermal Power Plant Station (ঘোড়াশাল বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্র) – one of the largest power stations in Bangladesh. Ghorasal power station (also known as Ghorashal) is a 1045-megawatt (MW) liquefied natural gas and natural gas power station (Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant) located in Palash, Narsingdi, Dhaka division, Bangladesh and is operated by the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB). It started its operation in the year 1974.
